| - | **ref: money sent in:** The tournament funds were to be paid in Canadian funds. There were many US teams that found it hard to send CDN Funds. We opened up a USD account so US teams could send in personal cheques in US funds. We have to pay fees and figure out exchange rates for all USD transactions. Since the US and CDN rate is very close right now we asked for all fees to be paid be the same in USD or CDN. Some teams are sending in USD fees discounted for the exchange rate. This is not acceptable. If we have to figure out exchange rates and fees for every payment that comes in, and rates change depending on the day payment arrives..... it is just a logistical nightmare. If you have tried to save a few bucks by sending an amount less than $275 USD per person then we will be charging you the fees and exchange rates when you arrive in Calgary. Some teams have been very good at following these rules and we thank you. Others....Not so much.. If you shortchanged the tournament fees be prepared when you arrive to pony up. | ||
